As a contractor, you may not have the same permanent workplace that you attend every day, and you may not be Under SDC (Supervision, direction and control). If this is the case, based on the 2016 Finance Bill or “T&S” legislation, you may be eligible to claim for your travel and subsistence, to help boost your take home pay. If you have been assessed by our team for SDC and are deemed to be NOT under SDC or you can prove that you’re a multi-site worker/ travel to perform your duties, you can claim some expenses on a weekly basis.
All you will need to do, is contact our amazing team and ask for the Compliance department, who will advise you on whether you can or can’t claim expenses, as well as providing you with a copy of our expenses policy, so you are clear on what you can and can’t claim each week. Legislation states that “All expenses must be incurred wholly and exclusively and necessarily in the performance of your duties”.
All expenses you can claim, are to be submitted by you, using either your web portal or your mobile phone app. Both are easy and simple to use, making your submissions time efficient.
